BOI, in collaboration with OICCI, held a consultative session on March 13, 2025, with overseas companies to discuss regulatory barriers to operate in Pakistan. The session was chaired by Director General, BOI featuring Mr. Scot Jacobs, Managing Director, Jacobs, Cordova & Associates, the session focused on simplifying the Companies Act 2017, protecting minority shareholders, and fostering corporate growth.
OICCI was represented by M. Abdul Aleem, Secretary General, Kashif Shafi, Executive Director and Javaria Shaikh Ismail. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Saud Bangash, Resident Director, Pakistan Business Council.
This initiative reinforces BOI’s commitment to transforming regulatory landscape of Pakistan.
