BOI held a technical workshop in Islamabad with Punjab and Sindh officials to strengthen capacity on regulatory reform tools for implementing Reform Package-02 and improving provincial RLCOs.
As a continuation of its recent engagements with the Governments of Punjab and Sindh, including consultative meetings and workshops held earlier this month in Lahore and Karachi, the Board of Investment (BOI) organized a focused technical workshop in Islamabad under Regulatory Reform Initiative.
The workshop brought together technical teams and focal persons from key provincial departments of Punjab and Sindh to build capacity on regulatory reform tools—specifically process mapping, cost analysis, and solution design—as part of the implementation of Reform Package-02. This phase of reforms places special emphasis on provincial RLCOs (Registrations, Licenses, Certificates, and Other Permits), aiming to reduce compliance burdens and improve service delivery at provincial level.
BOI remains committed to deepening federal-provincial collaboration and building technical capabilities to simplify regulations, reduce compliance burdens, and improve the ease of doing business across Pakistan.
