Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh represented Pakistan at WAIPA WIC 2025 in Sharjah, reaffirming BOI’s commitment to global investment cooperation and highlighting Pakistan’s regulatory reforms and FDI facilitation initiatives.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh, reaffirmed Pakistan BOI’s commitment to advancing collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among IPAs worldwide, emphasizing a shared vision to promote sustainable investment and economic diversification.
The Federal Minister met H.H Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi and Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, the chief guest of the event, on the sidelines of the WIC 2025. H.E Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, senior officials of UAE Ministry of Investment were present on the opening ceremony.
Federal Minister held bilateral meetings with Chairman Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, CEO of Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Pakistan Business Council Sharjah for deepening investment and economic cooperation between two brotherly countries and attracting FDI in Pakistan. The Minister highlighted the initiatives of BOI, SIFC, especially Regulatory Reforms to ease the regulatory burden, Asaan Karobar Act, SEZs, CCoRR and BFC etc. and assured full support to the private sector, businesses/investors
