DescriptionBefore: The Release Certificate for Import was issued manually by PSQCA, requiring sample analysis and lab testing at domestic facilities, which caused delays, increased costs, and created bottlenecks in the import clearance process.
After: The process is now fully automated and integrated with the Pakistan Single Window (PSW), allowing PSQCA to accept pre-shipment lab reports from internationally accredited laboratories to streamline clearance, reduce costs, and maintain quality assurance.
