Simplify and Digitize export health certificate for live animals
Reform IDF245
DescriptionThe issuance of Export Health Certificates for live animals is currently paper-based and offline, causing delays, inefficiencies, and an unnecessary administrative burden on exporters.
Applicants are required to submit multiple supporting documents, many of which are not directly relevant to certifying animal health, leading to higher compliance costs and longer processing times.
Unlike international best practices such as the European Commission’s TRACES system, the absence of a digital certification platform limits efficiency, transparency, and ease of compliance for exporters.
