Reform Description AEDB has Enhanced Validity Period of License for  Solar Installation Companies

Before: Every year, such companies needed to apply for renewal of their license, causing hassle and adding additional cost

After: Now the license will remain valid for 03 years

Details Difficulty ●      The requirement of yearly renewal of certification was resulting in disruption of operations and causing delay in fulfilling orders in a timely manner. This has especially become a nuisance as the demand for solar installations has increased in recent years.

●      This was creating  extra burden in terms of time & cost to the companies.
Analysis ●      After deliberation with the respective stakeholders it was felt that to facilitate the Solar Installation Companies, the validity period of the Certification in question needs to be enhanced upto 03 years.
Solution ●      Accordingly, it was notified that each certificate, unless revoked earlier in accordance with these regulations, shall be valid for three (3) years from the date it is issued.
