Reform Description		Overdue Royalty Charges Can now be Paid in Installments Before: Mining businesses in Gilgit-Baltistan faced challenges due to a policy that canceled leases if royalty payments were not made on time. After: Following the reform, the law now allows overdue royalty payments to be made in equal quarterly installments.

Details	Difficulty	Previously, in unforeseen circumstances where mining lessees were unable to pay royalty on time, their leases were cancelled without any option to make payments in installments.
	Analysis	It was observed that a system that allows overdue to be paid in installments should be created.
	Solution	Mining lease holders who were unable to clear their royalty payments due to any reason have now been provided an option to pay overdue royalty in equal quarterly installments.
