After: The Islamabad Food Authority has now adopted the harmonized food standards notified by PSQCA. As a result, food processing businesses operating in ICT can expand their operations anywhere in Pakistan without facing varying compliance requirements. | |

| Details | Difficulty | Without the harmonized food standards, all food processors and manufacturers had to comply with the varying provincial food standards which resulted in added time and cost due to the compliance requirements. Besides, food manufacturers must meet the different food testing criteria which was put in place by the concerned provincial food regulatory authority. |
