Punjab Food Authority organized Food Expo+ from 10-12 February, 2023 which was the biggest and most prestigious food-related extravaganza in Pakistan promoting and showcasing safe, healthy and standardized food for all as a part of the vision of Government of the Punjab. The expo brought together an unprecedented gathering of food manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, vendors and consumers together to strengthen global food trade ties and channels.
Focus on third day was “Institutional framework for vibrant food economy”. Mr. Adnan Munir Rajput, Director (Reforms) gave presentation on Food Trade and Transformative Economics with highlights of Pakistan Regulatory Modernization Initiative, while Mr. Zulfiqar Ali, Director General (Reforms) was a panelist on topic “Regulatory Framework to Promote Exports of Food and Beverages – Capabilities and Possibilities”
